Hello All,
I'm looking for some guidance. I want to be able to setup and track tariff, freight and other import costs at the sale of the goods, as opposed to the purchase of them.
I don't want to affect the value of the inventory. I have looked at tax codes and setting up an auto charge landed cost but that changed my manage costs.
This is mainly for informational purposes and not accounting purposes. Any help is much appreciated.

I am facing weird issue with AX 2009 Configuration file , when i am using .axc file to connect AX server user not able to see any data except one data row.
Same user is able to see data when we directly connect to Server with remote desktop connection and use same login ID of user in AX client locally.
I am running 2 instance ( 1- live and 1 UAT of Dynamics AX 2009) this is happening with recently created UAT server.
Please suggest what possible causes this issue.

I have created 3 transaction through Inventory to fixed assets journal and while doing recalculation of the inventory the adjusted amount is not appearing in Fixed asset ID instead of that it goes to Fixed asset Ledger account. is there any set up which I need to do for correct it ?

Hi, as attached image when calculate BOM standard cost for purchased raw material included in BOM, the calculation returns with zero cost for all purchased raw material items and also the produced manufacturing item.
When review the inventory on-hand for each purchased raw material items there is a cost price for each item related to purchased orders where we use weighted average inventory policy.
When review the manufactured produced item in inventory on-hand it has a cost price coming from production orders with using a weighted average inventory policy.
When review the manufacturing produced item in Cost Calculator in view ribbon in production order, it gives the correct standard cost including overheads and in-direct costs related to cost sheet.
So, Please may help about BOM calculations?

I created a simple auto approval workflow.
Now,when I submit it, workflow gets activated but after a minute it just shows"Stopped error".
And if I recall it shows the error: "Stopped (unrecoverable): No tree node for \Workflow\Workflow Types\".
I am done with all the troubleshooting suggested on blogs like Compile,CIL ,Sync but am still getting the same error.
Any help will be appreciated.

we have setup in item master where we deffine default batch for item and in whsitemfixedlocation we define default location and warehouse of item by site id.
Now when we create production order(Batch Order) for X Item it has A,B,C, D lets say 4 items as a co-product.
While doing report as finished , on clicking report as finished - it opens form prodparmreportfinished where I need to flow warehouse,location and batch number default .
I tried writing on post handler of prodparmreportfinished item but it is giving error when posting report as finished.

We do have a self implemented module for courses. There are several reports like e.g. Course confirmation
Till now the confirmation is a report to be printed out and sent to the participant by mail.
Now I want to change the behaviour and if the participant has an email in our system I want to create an email and attach the document.
What is the best way to do this?
