We are running AX 2012 R3 CU11. we have configured 2 workflows 1 for Expense Reports and 2nd for Cash advances. But while configuring we have noticed there is no option for Expenditure Participant in cash advance workflow which is available in expense report workflow.

my user mistaken to choose Business Unit to Direct Selling at Business Unit Column at Financial Dimension at Line Detail for Invoiced Sales Order.
Sales Order has been invoiced,
is there any impact if we change the business unit from Direct Selling to Another Bussiness unit for Invoiced Sales Order.

Hi, I m newbie and I dont have much working knowledge in AX but I have some outdated working knowledge in NAV (however, NAV does not have Rest or JSON web service. Correct me if i am wrong).
I have done consuming Asp.net Web Api Json Web Service using Swift 3/4(iOS) as well as in C# using HttpClient for MVVM pattern.

We had recently applied a Microsoft patch for implementing VAT functionality in Saudi Arabia at a client, after the application of the patch when we go for settling customer transactions we get the following error and are unable to initiate customer settlement process.
Cannot select a record in Open customer transactions (CustTransOpen).
InMemory temporary tables must be the outer tables when they are joined to a TempDB table or permanent table.

Hello Experts and Happy New Year!
We've set up the "Sales update packing slip" to automatically post the packing slip in a batch job.
This works fine in a case where sales orders ar fully delivered without any underdeliveries but when there are short picks (using the short picking functionality in Mobile device) the packing slip is created and posted, however, the order status is still "Open order", hence more of a cosmetic problem (?)
Is there a way to update the order status to Delivered, which would be the correct status in this case?

Dear experts,
We have a problem with our MRP, and I am really puzzled on how to fix it.
We have a setup with a cross-dock and several warehouses. The default order type on CD is purchase, and on WH - transfer.
Now, we have a 20 days LT on purchase, and 5 - on transfer, which gives a total LT of 25 days.
The problem arises when we run the MRP for the WH:
Since the transfer lead time is 5, AX will look for receipts within 5 days from today (dynamic negative days). IF there is nothing to cover the demand - it will place a new order, which will arrive 25 days later (purchase + transfer LT). But if we have a transfer order incoming on day 7 from now, we actually do not need the suggested order, as by the time it arrives we will have too much inventory. See simple illustration below:
Is there any way to make dynamic negative days to look at the TOTAL lead time instead? Or any other smart ways of tackling this issue?
I am a bit hesitant to manually specify negative days = purchase lead time for each item.

In AX 2012 CU7, is it possible to populate vendors of other legal entity in a drop down field ?
I have tried to implement this in SalesTable form by giving two drop down fields.
1. Company : <legal entity selection>
2. Vendor : <selection of vendor based on selected legal entity>
By using lookupVendor method (passing selected legal entity as parameter), list of vendors for selected legal entity populates but when I try to select a record it shows an error message as below :
Error : The value 'XXX-XXXXXX' in field 'Vendor' is not found in the related table 'Vendors'.
Please suggest if there is any solution for this. Please also suggest, if the same customization can be done in different way.

I have form in that form i have Design in Design button group in button group menu button and in menu button simple button that simple button has a clicked event. this button which has click event generate report when user click it. But now i want to add more fields to this existing report any Idea please.
I want to display the Created by user but instead of the user id I want to display the user name.
I want the column to be filter-able and so do not want to use display method but to rely on the form datasource.
