I have been searching, but not getting an answer I want, so maybe it doesn't exist.
What I want to do is Consume all materials on a BOM at the final Operation. I know that I can update each line on the BOM to call out the corresponding Operation to be consumed on, but I don't want to do that because that would require a constant maintenance to the BOM's to ensure that this is set correctly. So, I'm looking for a global setting, if one exists. Currently all material is set to be consumed on the first operation by default, unless otherwise specified. Is there a way to make the default to consume on the last, unless otherwise specified?
I'm in AX 2012 R3 CU8 and using standard discreet Production functionality.
