Hi,
I am trying to use master planning with formula items.
The scenario I am trying out is simple:
- I have an item of type formula, there is no on-hand inventory.
- The product has a formula defined with 3 lines. The items in the formula have no on-hand inventory
- There is a demand forecast for my formula item.
When I run master scheduling, I only get planned batch orders for my formula item, but I would also expect to get planned purchase orders for the other 3 items that are needed to produce my formula item.
What part of setup am I missing?
