Hi, is it still beneficial to have a batch process to release sales orders to the warehouse, when this could be controlled by an automated wave process. In the olden days, the operator would confirm the order, then this would form part of the criteria for release. I guess now, the operator would press the Release to warehouse button and the wave configuration would be used to control the work entering the warehouse? Just trying to get an understanding of the 'general rule'. Many thanks.
