It has been a very long time getting here in the online community. Hope everything is going great with you all.
I was reviewing an issue today in AX 2012 R2 CU6 version, where I noticed some discrepancies in the Named user license counts report under System Administration > Reports, and the report does not show expected information.
Some of the users with certain roles where getting listed as Functional users, which was not really the case as per the role assignments. To test this further I just assigned the standard out of the box "Project Timesheet User" role(Which is a TASK User CAL) to one of the test user accounts and ran the batch job for Named user license counts.
After the batch job finished executing, the Named user license counts report still showed the test user account with Project Timesheet User role as a Functional User, instead of a Task user.
Has anyone come across this situation or any other discrepancies on this report?
