EP Axboundfield reloads after selection

Hi,

I'm using axboundField drop down from AOT enum type field in enterprise portal, I'm using the values from drop down to hide/display fields based on the selected value using onDataChanged event, it works fine but the drop down returns to default value only if there was a change on the visibility of any fields, what I need is to stay on the selected value, any help?
